The goal: to elevate its identity while preserving its heritage, creating a visual experience that feels both premium and indulgent. This passion project reimagines Villars for a modern audience — refined, elegant, and made to be unwrapped.

Brand Concept

Villars is a Swiss chocolate brand with roots in Fribourg since 1901. This packaging concept celebrates its heritage through an illustrated cityscape and a custom emblem inspired by traditional Swiss cowbells and alpine florals. Gold-foil accents add a refined, nostalgic touch — honoring the brand’s legacy with a modern, premium feel.

Story & Style

This reimagined packaging brings Villars’ Swiss heritage to life through a hand-illustrated landscape inspired by the city of Fribourg. The scene flows seamlessly from front to back, turning the chocolate bar into a continuous story rooted in place and tradition. The art direction is warm, refined, and nostalgic — blending detailed linework with gold-foil accents to elevate the everyday indulgence.

Brand Experience
